Facing an unexpected pregnancy situation can be challenging,

and the current COVID-19 situation can add to feelings of fear and uncertainty.

At Envisage, we are still able to provide you with ALL of our services and have adjusted the way we provide these services to keep you safe. Although our locations are not open to the public, we are available by phone, text, email or video conferencing during our regular hours.

We are now able to offer a limited number of in person appointments for pregnancy tests and intakes. All of our other services continue to be available virtually.

Please note, we are asking screening questions to clients either the day before or morning of their scheduled appointment. You are welcome to familiarize yourself with our screening questions. As per the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit’s new mandated protocol, clients will be required to wear a mask, with some exemptions due to age, religious practices or medical circumstances. If you do not have a mask, a disposable one will be provided for you.

If you are in need of a pregnancy test, we are now able to offer limited in person appointments, or we can arrange the drop off or pick up of a lab-quality, self-administered, urine-based test. We can also provide emotional support by phone, text or virtual meeting before and/or after the test. We recognize that the COVID-19 situation can add stress in the midst of the possibility of an unplanned pregnancy and are here to support you during this time of uncertainty. If you are in need of a pregnancy test, contact us to arrange an in person appointment, or no contact delivery or pick up and support.

By using phone, texting, emailing, and/or virtual meeting we are still able to provide emotional support as you explore pregnancy options, support during pregnancy, community resource information, childbirth education classes and virtual doula support (on a limited basis). Contact us to arrange the best method of communication for you and to learn more about how we can support you!

If you are in need of items from our clothing cupboard such as diapers, formula, maternity/baby clothing, or limited grocery assistance, we will work to the best of our ability to arrange to get these items into your hands. We recognize that COVID-19 is having a financial impact on many families and will do our best to meet the needs we can and connect you with other community agencies that may be able to partner with you during this time.

As we provide you with support, we want to make sure you understand each of our services. Usually, we would review these forms together as we meet with you. But during this time of physical distancing we have listed them here for you to review. After you contact us, a support worker will provide you with instructions about which form she would like you to review.
